Alstom in Madrid seeks an ISM Software Architect to contribute to ISM specifications and software architecture for rail security and digital systems. You will work with multidisciplinary teams to define requirements, design components, and ensure cybersecurity and performance across the development lifecycle.

You will lead tool choices, coding standards, and integration activities, collaborating across functions to deliver robust software solutions in an agile, international environment.

Formación

• Engineering degree required.
• Strong programming experience in C# .NET.
• Knowledge of security systems (CCTV, streaming, SIP, VoIP, etc.).
• Excellent written and spoken English.
• Agile mindset with international orientation.

Responsabilidades

• Contribute to ISM specifications and architecture with program managers, design authority, and system engineers.
• Define software requirements including functional, operational, interface, performance, safety and cybersecurity aspects.
• Ensure requirements are testable and traceable across the development lifecycle.
• Design software architecture, components, interfaces and dynamic system behaviour.
• Validate technical solutions through simulations and prototypes.
• Lead technical decisions: tools, methodologies (e.g., UML), languages, coding standards.
• Support integration and verification activities.
• Contribute to system validation, testing and long-term maintenance.
• Monitor technology evolution and promote reusable solutions and standardization.
• Ensure application of internal processes and contribute to continuous improvement.
