Alstom in Madrid is seeking a Safety Assurance Engineer to support the delivery of safe railway signalling systems. You will work with cross‑functional teams to ensure safety is built into projects and to deliver robust safety analyses.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in Safety Assurance within railway projects, fluent in Spanish and English, and hold an engineering degree with railway safety training. The role is based on site in Madrid with opportunities across disciplines.

Formación

• Engineering degree in a relevant field is required.
• Specific training in Railway Safety is highly desirable.
• Minimum three years of Safety Assurance experience in railway signalling projects.

Responsabilidades

• Perform safety assurance activities under guidance of PSAM.
• Apply safety methodologies including Safety Plan, PHA, FMECA, FTA, IHA, OSHA, SRIL and Safety Case.
• Contribute to Safety Reports and Safety Case preparation.
• Participate in periodic Safety Reviews.
• Support closure of findings from internal and external assessors.
