Johnson Regional Medical Center seeks a skilled Radiology Technician and PACS Administrator to join our health system. You will perform diagnostic imaging (X-ray, MRI, CT), ensure patient safety, and manage our PACS system, including data integrity and user training.

You’ll collaborate with radiologists and IT to maintain image quality, comply with regulations, and support hospital imaging needs in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Education: Associate or bachelor's degree in radiologic technology, Health Information Technology, or related field.
• ARRT certification required.
• PACS certification (CIIP) is a plus; State license to practice radiation in Arkansas.
• BLS certification.
• Experience: 2+ years as Radiology Technician with imaging and ultrasound; PACS administration or healthcare IT desirable.
• Skills: Proficiency with radiographic imaging equipment and PACS software; knowledge of DICOM and radiology workflows; ultrasound experience.
• Communication and problem-solving: strong interpersonal skills and analytical abilities.

Responsabilités

• Perform diagnostic imaging procedures (X-ray, MRI, CT) per protocols and ensure high-quality images.
• Prepare patients and ensure safety and comfort during imaging.
• Operate and maintain radiography equipment and report malfunctions.
• Review images for quality and collaborate with radiologists on additional imaging.
• Oversee PACS daily operations and data management across departments.
• Provide PACS user support and training; coordinate software/hardware maintenance.
• Monitor system performance and generate reports; ensure regulatory compliance.
