Johnson Regional Medical Center is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist PRN to prepare, measure and administer radiopharmaceuticals for diagnostic and therapeutic studies, and to perform nuclear medicine procedures under radiology supervision. The role emphasizes patient safety, adherence to federal and state regulations, ALARA principles, and participation in quality improvement activities.

Qualified candidates will have radiology/nuclear medicine certification and BLS, with experience in

Formación

• High school graduate; BS degree preferred.
• Graduation from approved school of Radiology Sciences with certification in nuclear medicine; licensed in Diagnostic Radiology and Nuclear Medicine.
• Certified by the State of Arkansas to practice radiopharmaceuticals.
• Current BLS Certification and ability to communicate in English.

Responsabilidades

• Prepares, measures and administers radiopharmaceuticals for diagnostic and therapeutic studies.
• Performs and assists with nuclear medicine studies and maintains patient safety protocols.
• Ensures compliance with federal, state, local, and regulatory requirements; participates in CQI activities.
• Operates scanners or scintillation cameras and uses radiation safety practices.
• Maintains department stock and assists in training of students and ancillary staff.
• Takes calls after regular department hours and supports quality assurance information.
