🛰️ Join the Radar Revolution – Engineering Roles at Indra

Spain is investing in its future defense capabilities — and Indra is leading the way. We’re hiring Engineers to work on next-generation AESA radar systems , to be part of the PEM (Programa Especial de Modernización) launched by the Spanish Government. These are strategic national projects that will define the future of air defense platforms.

🔧 Key Responsibilities
  • Design and integrate electromechanical systems for high-power AESA radar platforms.
  • Develop mechanical structures and cooling systems (air-cooled and liquid-cooled) for defense-grade electronics.
  • Select and validate commercial components (connectors, fans, heat exchangers, TECs, chillers) ensuring compliance with ruggedization and reliability standards.
  • Perform thermal and structural analysis in coordination with simulation teams.
  • Design and control power distribution systems including AC / DC and DC / DC converters (buck, boost, flyback, forward, full-bridge, resonant).
  • Develop EMI / EMC filters for switched-mode power supplies in compliance with MIL-STD-461.
  • Support environmental qualification testing (vibration, thermal, EMC) and ensure MIL-STD compliance.
  • Prepare detailed technical documentation and participate in design reviews.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across mechanical, electrical, and systems engineering.
🎓 Your Profile
  • Degree in Industrial, Mechanical, or Electronics Engineering.
  • 5+ years of experience in electromechanical design and power systems for aerospace or defense.
  • Proficiency in Siemens NX and / or Solid Edge for CAD modeling and documentation.
  • Strong knowledge of thermal management, EMI / EMC compliance, and MIL-STD protocols.
  • Experience in power electronics and distributed power architectures.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Eligibility for NATO clearance.
