Job summary

Pangea Propulsion in Barcelona is seeking a Tax Credit Officer to strengthen R&D recognition and funding from public institutions. You will collaborate with FP&A, Engineering, Project Management and Finance teams to maximize R&D tax credit opportunities.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in R&D tax credits or innovation management, experience in engineering or aerospace, and fluency in English; Spanish/French knowledge is a plus.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in a similar role related to R&D tax credits, innovation management, public funding or financial controlling.
• Experience in an engineering, industrial, aerospace or technology environment is a plus.
• Knowledge of Spanish R&D tax incentives, bonificaciones and tax lease mechanisms is highly valued.
• Knowledge of the French CIR framework is considered a strong advantage.

Responsibilities

• Review and summarize monthly the technical progress of Pangea's products.
• Identify eligible R&D activities.
• Monitor resources eligible to Tax Credits.
• Support resource allocation analysis.
• Gather and generate the information needed for Tax Lease, CIR and Bonificaciones operations.
• Maintain accurate documentation supporting R&D tax credit claims and innovation incentive applications.
• Coordinate with engineering and project teams to collect evidence of eligible R&D activities.
• Prepare supporting documentation for audits, tax authorities and external advisors.
• Monitor changes in tax credit legislation and assess their impact on the company.
• Support budget planning and forecasting related to tax credits and public funding.
• Ensure compliance with tax incentive requirements and internal processes.
