Keysight Technologies in Barcelona is seeking an R&D Software Operating Manager to lead software engineering for Connectivity components. You will manage teams, drive planning, risk management and stakeholder communication across product lifecycles.

The role requires 7+ years in software, leadership in R&D, and fluent English. Candidates should have agile experience and a track record in complex, hardware-related environments.

Formación

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field.
• 7+ years of experience in relevant software development.
• Experience leading R&D efforts in complex systems such as test & measurement or hardware-intensive environments.
• Track record delivering complex, multi-disciplinary products end-to-end.
• Experience working with Scrum or other Agile methodologies.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams with influence without direct authority.
• Experience with geographically distributed development teams.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and manage software engineering teams responsible for Keysight IO Libraries and related Connectivity components.
• Drive project planning, risk management, dependency tracking, and stakeholder communication.
• Oversee DevOps and Quality practices and modernization to improve efficiency, quality and security.
• Champion AI-assisted development practices to increase value delivery.
• Manage issue escalation from partners and customers, ensuring timely resolution and reliability.
• Support long-term platform strategy by aligning software with future architecture needs.
• Develop team capability through mentoring, planning and workload management across initiatives.
