Mafer AI is seeking a food scientist with hands-on industry R&D experience to translate kitchen knowledge into software used by our R&D and quality teams. You will work directly with clients and collaborate with our engineers to model ingredient behavior, stability, and shelf life.

Required: a PhD or equivalent in food science or nutrition, Python proficiency, and fluency in Spanish and English, plus willingness to travel to plants.

Formación

• Hands-on R&D experience in a food or beverage company.
• PhD or equivalent depth in food science, food chemistry or nutrition.
• Understanding of ingredient functionality, process, stability, shelf life.
• Confidence working with data and Python.
• Spanish and English, and willingness to travel to plants.
• Experience in bakery, dairy, beverages or plant-based products; EU food regulation valued.

Responsabilidades

• Work directly with clients and build models and product modules with our engineers.
• Collaborate with clients to translate kitchen knowledge into software for R&D and quality teams.
