Job summary

MLabs is seeking a quantitative engineer to design and ship vault strategies end-to-end—from thesis to live deployment. You will optimize strategies, perform due diligence on protocols, and own risk controls. Qualifications

• Proven track record building quantitative systems in production.
• Experience with DeFi protocols, vaults, and risk modeling.
• Strong Python and software engineering fundamentals.
• Experience with data infrastructure and SQL pipelines.
• On-call production ownership and clear technical communication.

Responsibilities

• Design and ship vault strategies from thesis to live deployment.
• Optimize strategies with signals research and gas-aware rebalancing.
• Run due diligence on protocols, assets, and chains for strategy inclusion.
• Own risk parameters and automated de-risking logic.
• Integrate adapters for lending markets, DEXs, and bridges.
• Monitor risk systems and participate in on-call rotation.
• Support launches with growth, capital markets, and clients.
• Write production-grade code with testing and reviews.
• Communicate technical concepts clearly to teams.
