Quality Assurance Technician - Fresh Produce (Murcia Region, Spain)

Join a respected international Fresh Produce supplier and play a vital role in maintaining top-quality standards across the Murcia region and wider Iberian growing areas.

We are looking for an organised, proactive, and quality-focused professional to ensure product integrity from source to despatch. In this role, you will ensure that all products meet agreed standards for safety, quality, and legality, while working closely with growers and suppliers to deliver consistent excellence.

Quality Assurance Technician Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct regular product assessments at grower and packhouse sites to confirm compliance with customer and technical requirements
  • Monitor product quality, packaging, and labelling across the supply chain, reporting any issues promptly
  • Communicate daily quality reports and updates in English with the UK-based technical team
  • Collaborate with suppliers to investigate non-conformances and implement effective corrective actions
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with growers, suppliers, and logistics partners to support continuous improvement
Quality Assurance Technician Requirements
  • Proven experience in fresh produce quality assurance (ideally within international supply chains)
  • Strong understanding of customer and technical specifications
  • Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Confident working independently and managing time effectively across multiple sites
  • Based in or near the Murcia region, self-employed, and with access to a vehicle
