Antara Soluciones Técnicas (EV Solar) in Valencia seeks a Quality Engineer to support large-scale photovoltaic projects in the United States. You will design QA/QC inspection plans, manage non-conformities, monitor COPQ, and lead continuous improvement initiatives with cross‑functional teams in Spain and the USA.

A university degree in Engineering is required, with 5+ years in QA/QC on construction or EPC projects, knowledge of ISO 9001, advanced Excel, and fluent English.

• Knowledge of ISO 9001 or equivalent.
• Excellent Excel skills and document control.
• Fluent in English (C1 or equivalent).

Responsabilidades

• Design the QA/QC inspection plan for each project and monitor its execution.
• Analyze root causes of non-conformities, define corrective actions, and ensure closure.
• Monitor COPQ and manage warranty claims and backcharges where applicable.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives to prevent recurrence of issues.
• Prepare inspection reports and KPIs; coordinate with Valencia engineering and USA construction teams.

We are looking for a Quality Engineer to join our team in Valencia, providing technical support for the execution of large-scale photovoltaic projects in the United States. The selected candidate will be responsible for designing and monitoring project inspection plans, managing detected non-conformities, and leading continuous improvement initiatives aimed at reducing the Cost of Poor Quality (COPQ).

The position will be based in our offices in the Parque Tecnológico de Paterna (Valencia), while the projects will be developed in the state of New York, USA.

Key Responsibilities:

• Inspection Planning: Design the quality inspection plan (QA/QC) for each project and monitor its execution with construction teams in the United States.
• Non-Conformity Management: Analyze the root causes of detected non-conformities, define corrective action plans, and ensure their effective closure.
• Cost of Poor Quality Control: Monitor, reduce, and minimize Cost of Poor Quality (COPQ), including the management of warranty claims and backcharges.
• Continuous Improvement: Propose and implement improvements in inspection processes and construction processes to prevent the recurrence of non-conformities.
• Reports and KPIs: Prepare technical inspection reports and monitor key quality performance indicators (KPIs).
• Coordination: Collaborate with Engineering teams (Valencia) and Construction teams (USA) to standardize procedures and share best practices.

Requirements:

• University degree in Engineering (Industrial, Mechanical, Energy, Civil Engineering, or similar).
• Minimum 5 years of experience in quality management (QA/QC) in construction or industrial projects, preferably within the energy or EPC sector.
• Technical Knowledge in Quality management systems and applicable technical standards (ISO 9001 or equivalent).
• Proficiency in office tools (advanced Excel skills) and document management platforms.
• Fluent in English (both written and spoken (C1 or equivalent)
• Availability for occasional travel to the USA

Additional Qualifications Valued:

• Previous experience in photovoltaic solar energy projects.
• Knowledge of US technical standards (e.g., NEC) and specific regulations applicable in the states where Antara operates.
• Experience managing warranty claims (backcharges) and quality audits.
