FERCHAU Spain S.L.U. is seeking an experienced Quality Engineer to join an automotive development project in Spain.

You will lead product FMEAs, ensure compliance with customer requirements and international standards, and drive homologation activities with the Homologation team. The role requires a university engineering degree, 2–3 years in quality engineering, and fluency in English plus another European language.

Formación

• University Degree in Engineering or equivalent professional experience.
• 2–3 years of experience in a similar Quality Engineering position.
• Experience with mechanical products.
• Strong knowledge of quality methodologies and tools (FMEA, Control Plans, Validation, QA).
• Ability to work in cross-functional, international teams.
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Responsabilidades

• Lead FMEAs and related quality tools during product development phases.
• Ensure compliance with customer requirements, internal standards, and international norms.
• Lead product homologation and certification activities with official entities.
• Manage product modifications across the development lifecycle.
• Ensure traceability of Special Characteristics in product documentation.
• Participate in design reviews and drive quality improvements.
• Maintain project documentation in PLM databases, SVN, and DOORS.
• Define control plans and validation gauges; participate in validation of control systems.
• Coordinate testing activities and sample deliveries across departments.
• Analyze DVP and PVT results and implement corrective actions.
• Support manufacturing during product industrialization.
• Contribute to cost reduction and product performance improvements.
• Capture and promote lessons learned throughout industrialization.
• Collaborate with customer engineering teams for successful delivery.
