Tata Consultancy Services seeks a senior Quality Engineer to define and implement QA strategies, drive shift-left testing, and automate tests across web, API, and distributed systems.

You will collaborate with Dev and DevOps to integrate testing into CI/CD, perform end-to-end testing, validate microservices in cloud environments (AWS/Azure), and deliver quality metrics to stakeholders. English C1 required and permanent contract offered.

Formación

• 7+ years in Quality Engineering or similar.
• Experience designing test strategies and plans.
• Strong experience in functional, integration, system, regression and end-to-end testing.
• Hands-on with test automation tools (Cypress/Playwright/Selenium).
• Experience API testing and microservices validation.
• CI/CD integration and modern software delivery.
• Cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) familiarity.

We are looking for a dynamic, proactive and talented person to join our team and perform the following tasks:

• Define and implement Quality Engineering strategies aligned with engineering standards, delivery objectives, and quality goals.
• Drive shift-left testing practices by identifying quality risks early and embedding testing throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Design, develop, maintain, and execute automated test suites for web, API, integration, and end-to-end testing.
• Collaborate with Development and DevOps teams to integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines and accelerate software delivery.
• Perform functional, integration, system, regression, user acceptance, and non-functional testing activities.
• Validate APIs, microservices, cloud-native applications, and distributed systems through comprehensive testing practices.
• Analyze test results, identify quality risks and defects, and provide meaningful quality metrics to stakeholders.
• Promote continuous improvement, defect prevention, and a quality-first culture across cross-functional teams.
• Cypress, Playwright, Selenium (preferably C#)
• Postman, SoapUI and REST API Testing Tools
• Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions and GitLab CI
• Jira, Confluence and Test Management Solutions
• Microservices and Distributed Systems Architectures
• Years' experience: minimum 7 years in a similar Quality Engineering role.
• Strong experience in functional, integration, system, regression, and end-to-end testing across web, API, and distributed applications.
• Hands-on experience with test automation frameworks such as Cypress, Playwright, Selenium or equivalent tools.
• Strong experience in API testing, service validation, API contract testing, and REST services.
• Experience designing test strategies, test plans, test scenarios, and risk-based testing approaches.
• Experience integrating quality controls into CI/CD pipelines and modern software delivery processes.
• Strong understanding of microservices, distributed systems, cloud platforms (AWS/Azure), and cloud-native application testing.
• Experience in non-functional testing including performance, accessibility, reliability, resilience, observability, and security testing.
• Excellent analytical, communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.
• English: Advanced (C1).
