A leading manufacturer of advanced composites in Parla, Spain is seeking a Quality Coordinator. This role involves coordinating with engineers on continuous improvement projects, implementing a 'right first time' culture, and problem-solving issues related to production. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Engineering, experience in composite materials, and strong communication skills.

Formación

• Degree in Engineering with experience in Composite.
• Ability to communicate in English.
• Knowledge of Statistical or Six Sigma methodologies.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate work with Process Engineers on improvement projects.
• Work with Satellite plants on standardization plans.
• Implement 'right first time' culture and error-proofing initiatives.
• Identify root causes of issues and implement corrective actions.
• Standardize lessons and good practices across production lines.

Hexcel is currently seeking a Quality Coordinator for our Parla location (Spain).

The selected individual will be responsible for, but not limited, to the following obligations:

• To coordinate the work with Process Engineers in Continuous improvement projects as FOD, vision systems, Nadcap...
• To coordinate the work with Satellite plants in standardization plans
• To coordinate the work closely with production to implement” right first time” culture and “error-proofing initiatives” and improving understanding of customer requirements.
• Problem solving: Understand root cause of our main issues causing problems (customer rejections, complaints, internal NC’s, scrap, etc.) and implement robust corrective actions and verify their effectiveness to avoid reoccurrence.
• Implement preventive actions and standardize learnt lessons/good practices across the lines.

Qualifications:

• Degree in Engineering (Chemical or Mechanical) and experience in Composite.
• A Master in Composite Materials will be an asset
• English speaking.
• Advanced level in data software’s.
• Statistical or Six Sigma knowledge.
