A leading global biopharmaceutical company is seeking a Quality Control Technician in Madrid. You will play a key role in ensuring quality through various testing responsibilities. The ideal candidate will hold a degree in Biological, Life, or Chemical Sciences and possess strong attention to detail and communication skills. This is a temporary position with Monday to Friday hours.

Formación

  • Graduate with a degree in Biological, Life or Chemical Sciences.
  • Experience in a GMP environment is beneficial.
  • High attention to detail and excellent communication skills.

Responsabilidades

  • Undertake general QC testing for raw materials and finished goods.
  • Take samples from site water systems.
  • Utilise SAP for reporting QC results.

Role

Quality Control Technician – You will have an integral role in Merck's commitment to ensuring a positive difference is made to millions of people's lives through your role as a QC Lab Technician, working within the wider quality control team. You will have a varied, challenging and rewarding role reporting to the QC Supervisors.

Duties
  • Undertaking all general QC testing for raw materials, site water systems, validation and finished goods
  • Taking samples from the site water systems
  • Participating in the development of relevant procedures, and where required, update of controlled documents to fulfil testing requirements
  • Actively utilising SAP for the reporting of QC results and review of final results
  • Participating in Continuous Improvement initiatives relating to QC testing activities
  • Participating in department training and where required development and performance of training to meet site training needs
  • Actively participating in the EHS responsibilities for all functions performed within QC
Successful Candidate
  • Be a graduate with a degree in Biological, Life or Chemical Sciences
  • Previous experience of working within a GMP environment is beneficial
  • High attention to detail at all times
  • Excellent communicator
  • High interpersonal and teamwork skills
  • Highly organised with the ability to prioritise workload
Work Conditions

This role is offered on a temporary ongoing basis, working Monday to Friday 8.30am to 4.30pm, 37.5 hours per week with an immediate start available.
