Airbus Defence and Space SAU in Getafe (Madrid) seeks a Quality and Configuration Management Engineer to join the Quality & Product Assurance Team. You will safeguard conformity, manage approvals with authorities, and drive continuous quality improvements across the aircraft life-cycle.

The role requires strong knowledge of QMS and configuration control, with English proficiency and a proactive, cross-functional mindset. A hybrid work model is available where possible.

Formación

• Degree in Aeronautical or Industrial Engineering or related discipline.
• Experience in Quality Assurance, Quality Management Systems (QMS), or Configuration Management in aerospace/defense.
• Proactive mindset with strong cross-functional communication and customer-focused attitude.
• Advanced English; Spanish language highly valued.
• Knowledge of DOA/POA/MOA, QMS, RCA/NCR, and Configuration Control processes.

Responsabilidades

• Act as the main focal point within the Quality organization, safeguarding conformity and customer requirements while managing feedback to ensure continuous satisfaction.
• Manage relationships with civil/military Authorities, ensuring DOA/POA/MOA approvals, on-site quality assurance, and flight permits.
• Support Change Control and Configuration Baseline evolution, evaluating requirements and managing product structure changes.
• Ensure product delivery and lifecycle tracking through assembly, tests, customer delivery and maintenance.
• Define and monitor KPIs, analyze NCRs, perform root cause analysis and deploy recurrence prevention actions.
• Develop and maintain Quality Methods and instructions within the QMS to drive process efficiency.
