Job summary

Forvis Mazars, a leader in audit, tax and advisory services, is seeking a Quality & Risk Officer to support our Center of Excellence in Barcelona working with Switzerland operations. This permanent, full-time role blends on-site and hybrid work to strengthen ethics, independence and risk management across the firm.

You will coordinate onboarding, KYC/AML, sanctions screening, internal controls and cross-functional projects while drafting reports for stakeholders in an international environment.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of experience in compliance, audit, or related field.
• Knowledge of KYC/AML requirements and international sanctions.
• Crypto sector risk knowledge.
• Excellent organizational and multi-priority management skills.
• Strong English communication; German/French is a plus.
• Collaborative, autonomous, proactive and solution-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Support client onboarding and continuance processes.

• Monitor activities, QA reviews, and internal controls.

Join Forvis Mazars and support our Quality & Risk Management function across Switzerland from our Center of Excellence in Barcelona. As a Quality & Risk Officer, you will contribute to the firm's acceptance, independence, ethics, and risk management processes, while ensuring the smooth execution of operational activities, coordinating internal processes, and supporting teams in a dynamic international environment.

Key responsabilities

Support the firm's client onboarding and continuance processes.

Assist in managing ethics, independence, and compliance matters at firm level.

Perform risk assessments, including KYC/AML reviews, international sanctions screening, and cryptocurrency-related risk analyses.

Participate in monitoring activities, quality assurance reviews, and internal control procedures.

Contribute to strategic cross-functional projects at both the local and Group levels.

Manage registrations and filings with the Swiss Commercial Register.

Draft reports, analyses, and documentation for internal and external stakeholders.

Skills

2-4 years of experience in compliance, audit, or a related field, with a strong interest in compliance and risk management.

Knowledge of KYC/AML requirements, international sanctions frameworks, and the cryptocurrency sector.

Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.

Strong written and verbal communication skills in English; German and French are considered an asset.

Highly conscientious, rigorous, and methodical, with excellent organizational abilities, strong prioritization skills, and the capacity to perform effectively under pressure.

A collaborative team player who enjoys working across functions, while remaining autonomous, proactive, adaptable, and capable of taking initiative.

Pragmatic and solution-oriented.
