Keen Software House seeks a QA Lead to take full ownership of Space Engineers' quality. You will lead seven QA professionals, oversee release stability, testing strategy, and quality standards across the project.
You will drive QA process improvements, collaborate with Engineering, Design, Production, and Community teams, and ensure high-quality releases while balancing production realities. Fluency in English is required.
Space Engineers has been played by millions of players worldwide and continues to evolve more than a decade after its original release. We have sold more than 6 million copies, and we do not want to stop there.
As QA Lead, you will have direct influence over the quality of one of the most technically ambitious sandbox games in the industry. You will work alongside experienced developers, own critical release decisions, and help shape how quality is built into every part of the development process.
If you are looking for a role where ownership is not just a buzzword, but an everyday expectation, we would love to hear from you.
At Keen Software House, QA is not a support function. It is one of the disciplines directly responsible for the success of every release.
We are looking for a QA Lead to take full ownership of the quality of Space Engineers. You will lead a team of six experienced QA professionals while being accountable for release stability, testing strategy, quality standards, and continuous improvement across the project.
This role is about much more than managing testers or tracking bugs. We are looking for someone who naturally takes ownership, identifies risks before they become problems, drives quality across teams, and ensures that every release reaches players in the best possible state.
If you believe quality is built throughout development, not just tested at the end, you will fit right in.
Take full ownership of the measurement of the quality of Space Engineers. Continuously raise the quality bar across gameplay, technical systems, content, and releases.
Be accountable for multiplatform release readiness and production stability. Drive objective go/no-go decisions based on risk assessment and quality data.
Define the project's testing strategy, priorities, quality standards, and long-term QA roadmap. Ensure the team focuses on the areas that create the highest value for both developers and players.
Lead, mentor, and develop a team of seven QA professionals. Build a culture of ownership, accountability, continuous learning, and high execution standards.
Continuously improve QA workflows, methodologies, and collaboration across Engineering, Design, and Production to make quality an integral part of development rather than a final checkpoint.
Own post-release quality by proactively reducing player-facing issues. Analyze support tickets, crash reports, telemetry, and community feedback to identify root causes and drive long-term improvements.
Success in this role is not measured by the number of bugs found or test cases executed.
