Job summary

Lucanet in Spain is seeking a QA Engineer for Tax, Compliance and Reporting to own quality across manual and automated testing of the tax platform (e-balance and VAT). You will work with two agile product teams, coaching developers to improve their testing and applying AI to QA workflows.

You will build and maintain automated coverage using Playwright and TypeScript, drive test strategy, and help shape the testing framework as it evolves.

Qualifications

• Hands-on testing across manual and automated testing.
• Experience building test coverage with Playwright and TypeScript.
• Experience applying AI to QA workflows.
• Agile team environment with strong English communication.
• Ability to mentor developers to own testing.

Responsibilities

• Own test strategy across manual and automated testing for Lucanet's Tax, Compliance and Reporting platform.
• Build and maintain automated test coverage using Playwright and TypeScript.
• Coach developers to take ownership of their tests.
• Apply AI to QA workflows including reporting and tooling.
• Develop performance testing with K6 and monitor/report results.
• Collaborate with engineering leads to evolve the testing framework.
• Report to QA leadership.
