Job summary

HCLTech is seeking a QA Engineer for Procurement – Stock PO to ensure integrity and efficiency of the stock purchase order lifecycle. You will validate processes from requisition and PO creation through goods receipt, invoice verification, and supplier interfaces, aligning with SAP MM procurement modules.

The role requires QA expertise, process optimization skills, and strong collaboration across cross-functional teams in a large technology organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IS/Business or related field.
• Strong SAP MM procurement knowledge and stock PO lifecycle.
• Experience in QA methodologies, test case creation, and defect management.
• Analytical mindset to challenge workflows, pricing, and tolerance logic.
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration.
• Experience in procurement or supply chain QA in large tech organizations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end stock purchase order lifecycle, including requisition, PO creation, goods receipt, invoice verification, and supplier interactions.
• Validate and test replenishment and scheduling scenarios to ensure process accuracy.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate supplier and logistics systems with SAP MM procurement modules.
• Analyze and challenge existing approval workflows, pricing mechanisms, and tolerance logic to drive improvements and optimize procurement processes.
• Design and execute QA test cases and scenarios, ensuring compliance with business requirements and industry best practices.
• Identify process gaps, recommend corrective actions, and support implementation of enhanced procurement solutions.
• Monitor quality metrics, report defects, and track resolution to maintain high standards of operational quality.
• Document test results, maintain QA records, and communicate findings to stakeholders.
