Calyptus is seeking a meticulous Quality Assurance Engineer to join a growing software team in A Coruña. This hybrid role blends remote work with the company’s modern A Coruña office, offering a balance of collaboration and independence.

In this position, you will design and execute comprehensive test plans, work with Jira and automated tools like Selenium or Cypress, and contribute to process improvements while ensuring the delivery of high-quality software.

Formación

• Proven experience as a QA Engineer or Software Tester.
• Experience with writing and executing test cases.
• Familiarity with Jira bug tracking.
• Experience with automated testing tools (Selenium, Cypress).
• Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
• Good communication in Spanish.

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop, and execute test plans and test cases for web and mobile apps.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, performance, and usability testing.
• Identify, document, and track defects using Jira.
• Collaborate with developers and product managers to understand requirements.
• Automate testing processes to improve efficiency and coverage.
• Contribute to QA methodologies and process improvements.
• Verify bug fixes and prevent reoccurrence.
• Create and maintain test documentation.
