As part of our continuous growth, we are looking for a QA Automation Engineer who is passionate about test automation and software quality to join our team in Barcelona. This role is ideal for someone with at least 2 years of QA experience who wants to work in an environment where automation is at the core of testing.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated tests for our mobile application (UI, API, and integration tests).
• Use frameworks such as Maestro and Appium to automate mobile testing on React Native applications.
• Create and run automated API tests to ensure backend reliability using Pytest.
• Integrate and execute tests within a CI/CD environment.
• Leverage Docker to manage and run isolated test environments.
• Collaborate closely with developers and other QA members to ensure the highest quality at every release.
• Identify opportunities to improve QA processes and suggest new tools or solutions.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies (daily stand-ups, tech sync, retrospectives) to embed quality at every development stage.
• Run data quality checks on the Data pipelines along with our Data Engineer.
• KPI and metrics follow up.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of experience in QA, with a strong focus on test automation.
• Proficiency with at least one mobile testing framework (Maestro, Appium, or equivalent).
• Experience with API testing (Postman, RestAssured, or similar using Python or JavaScript).
• Knowledge of Docker and integration into CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong debugging skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced startup environment with a proactive mindset.
• Fluent in English.
