Bruce.work, based in Barcelona, is hiring a Junior QA Engineer to help define, structure, and strengthen the company’s QA strategy. You will collaborate with Product & Tech to validate new features before production releases and ensure an outstanding user experience from day one.

Ideal candidates are curious, proactive, and eager to build processes rather than simply follow existing ones. Fluency in English or Spanish is required, with French as a plus; the role offers a permanent Spanish

• Engineering degree or equivalent technical education.

The Role

You will work alongside a young and collaborative Product & Tech team, helping to define, structure, and strengthen the company's quality assurance strategy as it continues to grow. From building testing processes to validating new features before production releases, you will play a key role in ensuring an outstanding user experience.

This position is ideal for a curious and proactive junior profile who enjoys exploring, questioning, testing, and continuously improving processes.

Your Keys Responsibilities

• Build the foundations of Quality Assurance
• Help design and implement the company's QA strategy and testing framework.
• Create, document, and continuously improve testing processes.
• Contribute to building a quality-first culture across the company.
• Test and validate new features - Using Automation Test only
• Execute functional, regression, exploratory, and user acceptance testing.
• Validate new features before production releases.
• Ensure every release delivers the best possible user experience.
• Identify issues and improve product quality
• Identify, document, and track bugs throughout the development lifecycle.
• Suggest improvements to enhance product reliability and user experience.
• Contribute to future test automation initiatives as the QA function grows.
• Collaborate across teams
• Work closely with Product, Front-end, Back-end, and Operations teams to ensure quality is embedded throughout the development process.

What makes you especially perfect for this role?

• Engineering degree or equivalent technical education.
• You have at least 5 years of experience (Automation Testing)
• You speak fluently English or Spanish (we can work in both languages)
• Naturally curious and eager to understand how products work.
• Structured and detail-oriented while remaining pragmatic.

• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced startup environment.

Working conditions

• Permanent Spanish contract (40h/week)
• Salary: €28,000 - €35,000 gross per year
