DKB Code Factory GmbH in Valencia is seeking a Senior QA Engineer to lead quality strategy and testing across the engineering organization. You will partner with developers and product stakeholders to shape testing practices and drive release readiness.

You will design scalable automation for backend systems and APIs, mentor others on testing topics, and promote a culture where quality is a shared responsibility across teams.

Formación

• Strong knowledge of testing principles, test design techniques, risk-based testing, and modern quality engineering practices.

Responsabilidades

• Own and evolve the team's quality and testing strategy aligning with product risks and delivery goals.
• Act as the team's go-to expert for quality engineering guiding testing approaches, testability, automation, and decisions.
• Design and evolve scalable test automation across component, integration, contract, API, and end-to-end testing, with focus on backend systems and APIs.
• Ensure test readiness across environments, infrastructure, test data, mocking, service virtualization, and system dependencies.
• Partner with developers and product stakeholders to identify risks, clarify requirements, improve testability, and prevent defects early.
• Analyze complex test failures and production defects, support root-cause analysis, and use metrics to identify systemic issues for release decisions.
• Drive Continuous Testing and quality engineering practices within CI/CD, mentoring engineers and sharing testing patterns across teams.
