Jobtailor is seeking a driven Quality Engineer to design and maintain test automation scripts and frameworks across Core Banking and Specialized applications. You will work under senior guidance to strengthen automated testing, planning, and execution, while collaborating with IT and business teams to ensure robust coverage.

The role emphasizes AI-driven testing approaches, API/microservices testing, and applying analytical skills to optimize testing processes. Agile/Scrum exposure is a plus.

Formación

• A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Strong programming skills in Python, Java, or JavaScript.
• Solid understanding of software development principles.
• Familiarity with test automation tools/frameworks including Playwright, Cucumber, RestAssured, Robot Framework, and TestNG.
• Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
• Knowledge of software testing concepts, including test case design, API/microservices testing, and non-functional testing such as performance and security.
• Analytical mindset focused on optimizing testing processes through automation.
• Hands-on experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies as a Quality Engineer or SDET is nice-to-have.
• Coursework or projects involving AI-driven testing, BDD, or microservices architectures is nice-to-have.

Responsabilidades

• Apply analytical and technical skills to drive defect prevention and early detection.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create test suites and traceability matrices.
• Support test walkthroughs.
• Maintain and optimize automation scripts for Core Banking and Specialized applications.
• Partner with IT and business teams to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
