IntellectEU is seeking a QA Automation Engineer to ensure the quality and reliability of our API‑driven applications. You will design, develop, and execute automated and manual tests, validate functionality and performance, and collaborate with development teams.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor's in a technical field, speak English at upper‑intermediate level, and have hands‑on experience with Python and Robot Framework, API testing, and RHEL. Nice to have Java 17, Spring Boot, and NoSQL.

We are seeking a skilled and detail‑oriented QA Automation Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of high‑availability, API‑driven applications through effective testing strategies and automation.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute automated and manual tests for high‑availability, API‑enabled applications.
• Validate application functionality, performance, and reliability within complex environments.
• Develop and maintain test automation frameworks and scripts.
• Collaborate with development teams to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve defects.
• Analyze test results and provide actionable insights to improve product quality.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing processes and methodologies.

Requirements

Must have

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent technical experience.
• English proficiency at Upper-Intermediate level or higher.
• Hands‑on experience with Python and Robot Framework for test automation.
• Knowledge of API testing tools and methodologies.
• Familiarity with Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) environments.

Nice to have

• Experience with Java 17 (or higher) with Spring Boot.
• Experience working with Apache Tomcat.
• Experience with NoSQL databases.

• Strong critical thinking and logical problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Good communication skills and a proactive approach to problem‑solving.
