Qaracter is seeking a highly adaptable Python Engineer to design, develop, automate, and continuously improve high-availability software solutions across multiple technologies.

You will work with Python, Cloud, Kubernetes, IaC, automation, and observability to deliver reliable software; join cross-functional teams and contribute to CI/CD and QA.

Formación

• Must have advanced Python 3 skills and Linux experience.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms and IaC tools is required.
• Experience with CI/CD and automated testing is essential.
• Knowledge of monitoring and observability tools is a plus.
• English proficiency for collaboration in an international environment.

Responsabilidades

• Design and develop high-availability software solutions using Python.

• Optimize and improve engineering efficiency and processes.
• Implement monitoring, metrics, and alerts to ensure reliability.
• Ensure high software quality across development and maintenance.

• Work with cloud infrastructure and containerized environments.
• Collaborate with development, infra, and operations teams to deliver robust solutions.

What You'll Do

• Design and develop high-availability software solutions using Python
• Work across multiple technologies and adapt quickly to changing technical requirements
• Define and promote development, automated testing, and deployment best practices
• Optimize and improve software development processes and engineering efficiency
• Implement monitoring, metrics, and timely alerts to ensure system reliability
• Ensure high levels of software quality across both new development and maintenance
• Implement and maintain software quality controls
• Develop automated testing strategies and integrate them into CI/CD pipelines
• Work with cloud infrastructure and containerized environments
• Collaborate with development, infrastructure, and operations teams to deliver robust solutions

What We're Looking For

Mandatory Technical Skills

• Advanced Python 3
• Medium knowledge of C/C++
• Strong experience with Linux

• Unit testing / UnitTest
• Experience with Git, Jenkins, Jira, and Confluence
• Strong knowledge of AWS
• Experience with Redis
• Experience with Elasticsearch
• Knowledge of monitoring platforms, particularly Grafana

Education

• Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field

Languages

• High level of English – required for collaboration in an international environment

Nice to Have

• Experience with software development process automation
• Knowledge of additional monitoring and observability tools
• Experience working with high-availability or distributed systems
• Exposure to CI/CD and DevOps methodologies
• Curiosity and genuine interest in learning and adopting new technologies
