Job summary

Present Connection ищет Python-разработчика в команду R&D на позиции бэкенд-инженера. Вы будете строить бэкенд-сервисы, конвейеры данных и инструменты, связывая данные с AI-агентами и MCP-серверами, которые их используют.

Qualifications

Present Connection is an international technology partner with offices in Lithuania, the Netherlands, and Spain. For more than 14 years, we have worked with companies across Europe, combining software engineering expertise with a strong understanding of business and technology. We are looking for a Python Developer to join an R&D team at the third-largest ERP provider for small and mid-sized manufacturing companies in the DACH region. The team is building an AI-based business intelligence and analytics platform, together with the data foundation underneath it.

You will build the backend services, data pipelines and tooling behind this, and help connect the data to the AI agents and MCP servers that use it.

The ability to turn ideas into reliable backend solutions using AI coding agents: define implementation plans, guide execution, and critically review, test and improve the results, with enough Python proficiency to understand and take ownership of the code Initiative, creativity and ownership: you contribute your own ideas, challenge assumptions constructively and drive solutions from initial concept through implementation and validation Solid Python skills and experience with APIs, web services and backend development Good SQL and data modelling skills, and an understanding of what the data means and how it will be used Hands-on experience building with LLMs or AI agents Clear, proactive communication in English Будет плюсом: A data science or analytics background; DevOps and cloud experience (Docker, CI/CD, AWS, Kubernetes/OpenShift) and taking prototypes to reliable production; Experience with lakehouse or data-catalog technologies such as Apache Iceberg, Parquet, ClickHouse or OpenMetadata; Experience building MCP servers, agent tools, retrieval or structured-output features; ERP or manufacturing domain knowledge, or experience with BI or analytics products
