Jobgether is seeking a Python Developer based in Spain for a fully remote role focused on building scalable backend and frontend services with secure REST APIs for payment processing. You will work with FastAPI/Django, PostgreSQL, and cloud-native tech, integrating AI-assisted coding tools to accelerate delivery.

You will deploy and operate services in Kubernetes, monitor performance, and collaborate with external PSPs to ensure smooth payment workflows while adhering to best security practices.

Qualificações

• Two years of commercial Python development experience.
• Experience with AI-powered coding tools like Claude Code or OpenAI Codex.
• Strong experience with FastAPI and/or Django for web apps and APIs.
• Solid knowledge of asynchronous programming in Python (asyncio, async/await).
• Good PostgreSQL knowledge including design, indexing, and optimization.
• Experience with MongoDB and Redis for storage/caching.
• Experience with message brokers like RabbitMQ.
• Docker knowledge and Kubernetes deployment/ops practices.
• Familiarity with CI/CD, preferably GitLab CI/CD.
• Ability to write clean, scalable, testable code and participate in code reviews.

Responsabilidades

• Develop, maintain, and optimize backend and frontend services using Python for high performance and scalability.
• Design, build, and maintain REST APIs for payments and third-party integrations.
• Integrate external payment providers and manage payment lifecycles.
• Ensure secure, reliable processing of transactions and data protection practices.
• Incorporate AI-assisted tools into daily workflows to boost productivity and code quality.
• Deploy and operate services in Kubernetes environments.
• Monitor performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement stability improvements.
• Write clean, reusable code and develop automated tests to reduce regressions.
• Participate in code reviews and release processes to maintain engineering standards.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external providers to resolve integration challenges.
