Job summary

AgileEngine is seeking a Python Backend Developer to build and extend the backend of an internal developer portal and dashboard, using AI coding tools in daily work.

You will design and maintain a robust Python backend, integrate with Snowflake and SQL/NoSQL databases, and ensure smooth deployment with Git and CI/CD pipelines. A strong Linux foundation and API design skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on backend development with Python (4+ years).
• Experience with AI coding assistants in daily workflows.
• Proficient in Git, branches, PRs, and CI/CD integration.
• Linux/Unix command-line and scripting basics.
• Experience connecting to Snowflake, relational and non-relational databases.
• Solid understanding of RESTful API design and integration.

Responsibilities

• Continue the development and extension of the internal developer portal and dashboard.
• Design and maintain a robust Python backend to support core features.
• Leverage AI coding tools to streamline implementation, refactoring, and test generation.
• Integrate with Snowflake, SQL databases and NoSQL databases.
• Manage version control and CI/CD pipelines for automated testing and deployment.
• Navigate Linux/Unix environments to run builds, scripts, and logs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate requirements into scalable solutions.
• Ensure code quality through unit tests and reviews.
