AgileEngine is seeking a Python Backend Developer to build and extend the backend of an internal developer portal and dashboard, leveraging AI coding tools in daily work. The role lives in Barcelona, Spain, with options for remote collaboration and flexible hours.

You will deepen backend services using Python (FastAPI/Django/Flask), design RESTful APIs, and integrate diverse databases including Snowflake, PostgreSQL, MySQL and MongoDB, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to ship

Qualifications

• 4+ years of backend development with Python and web frameworks (FastAPI/Django/Flask).
• AI tooling experience in daily development workflows.
• Proficiency with Git and CI/CD pipelines.
• Linux/Unix command-line and environment setup—user level.
• Experience with Snowflake, PostgreSQL/MySQL, and MongoDB.
• Solid understanding of RESTful API design.

Responsibilities

• Develop and extend internal developer portal backend in Python.
• Design, build, and maintain robust backend features.
• Leverage AI coding tools to speed implementation and testing.
• Integrate with Snowflake, SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Manage Git-based version control and CI/CD pipelines.
