AgileEngine is seeking a Python Application Security Engineer to automate application security controls and embed secure coding practices into software development and cloud workflows.

You will design AI-enabled security scanning, integrate SAST/DAST/SCA into enterprise CI/CD, and implement CSPM runtime checks. The role emphasizes autonomous execution and collaboration with developers to reduce risk across platforms, with flexible remote/office options.

Competenze

• 3+ years of experience combining software engineering experience, security implementation and/or architecture experience.
• Strong coding and architectural proficiency in Python.
• Familiarity with Wiz, Prisma Cloud, or similar tools for cloud security posture management.
• Experience with deploy-time checks against Infrastructure as Code (IaC) / Terraform.
• Experience with runtime checks through CSPM.
• Autonomous execution capability for automated security runbooks.

Mansioni

• Engineer and deploy AI-enabled secure code scanning capabilities and Golden Images to drive secure-from-the-start adoption.
• Automate the development of secure coding patterns and integrate with SDLC workflows.
• Architect the integration of continuous security scanning tools (SAST, DAST, SCA) into enterprise CI/CD pipelines.
• Implement runtime security checks via CSPM to maintain continuous cloud visibility and threat posture management.
• Read and review complex application code (Java/Python) to provide code-level remediation guidance.
