AgileEngine in Valencia is seeking a Python Application Security Engineer to automate security controls and embed secure coding practices into software development and cloud workflows. You will architect and deploy AI-enabled security tooling, integrate SAST/DAST/SCA into CI/CD, and implement CSPM runtime checks.

Strong Python coding and IaC/Terraform experience are essential for this hands-on, autonomous role.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of combined software engineering and security experience.
• Strong Python coding and architecture skills.
• Experience with Wiz, Prisma Cloud, or similar cloud security tools.
• IaC/Terraform deployment experience.
• Runtime security with CSPM experience.
• Autonomous, self-managing in security runbooks.

Responsibilities

• Engineer and deploy AI-enabled secure code scanning capabilities and automated runbooks.
• Automate secure coding patterns and integrate them with SDLC workflows.
• Architect integration of SAST/DAST/SCA into enterprise CI/CD pipelines and tune noise.
• Implement runtime CSPM checks for continuous cloud visibility and threat posture management.
• Review complex Java/Python code to guide engineers on remediation steps.
