Job summary

AgileEngine is seeking a Python Application Security Engineer to automate secure coding practices and embed security controls into cloud workflows. You will build AI-enabled security runbooks, integrate SAST/DAST/ SCA into enterprise CI/CD pipelines, and harden runtime security with CSPM.

You should have 3+ years of security-focused software engineering, strong Python skills, Terraform IaC experience, and clear English communication. Flexible remote/onsite options available.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience combining software engineering, security implementation or architecture.
• Strong coding and architectural proficiency in Python for security automation and scripting.
• Hands-on experience with cloud security posture management tools (Wiz, Prisma Cloud) for threat detection.
• Experience with IaC deployment checks (Terraform) and runtime CSPM security checks.
• Fully autonomous execution capability with automated security runbooks.
• Upper-intermediate English level.

Responsibilities

• Engineer and deploy AI-enabled secure code scanning capabilities and golden images to drive secure-from-the-start adoption.
• Automate secure coding pattern development and integrate with SDLC workflows.
• Architect integration of SAST/DAST/ SCA into enterprise CI/CD pipelines and tune to eliminate noise.
• Implement runtime security checks through CSPM to maintain cloud visibility and posture.
• Review enterprise code to provide developers with precise remediation guidance.
