Job summary

Horse Technologies Division, Valladolid, Spain, is seeking a Mechanical/Industrial Design Engineer to translate specifications into robust design solutions. You will design assemblies, validate drawings, and collaborate with suppliers to ensure fit and quality within Powertrain programs.

The role requires a Master's degree in Engineering, experience in design activities, and expertise in Catia and GD&T, with Jira knowledge for project tracking. Occasional travel to other sites may be required.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Industrial, Mechanical or Design Engineering - Intermediate or Advanced Vocational Qualification in Design or Automotive Engineering.
• Experience in design activities will be highly valued.
• Knowledge in Catia, ISO GD&T.
• Design of assembly and sub-assemblies, manufacturing processes and Powertrain.
• Experience in Project Management tools (Jira).

Responsibilities

• Functional analysis (transcription from technical specifications to technical solutions).
• Robustness' design through stack-up tolerances studies and functional GD&T.
• Design 3D proposals.
• Create & validate inhouse drawings but also validate suppliers drawings.
• Analyze and validate supplier's proposals taking into account assembly & fitability restrictions and ensure planning and quality of the project.
• Capitalize and use the standards and 'know-how' of horse rules.
