The Opportunity
Lead the transformation and optimization of purchasing and procurement processes and tools—including inventory, non-inventory, and outsourcing scopes—ensuring operational efficiency, traceability, and alignment with the company’s strategic goals.
What you'll get to do
Process Improvement & Governance
- Lead the identification, design, and implementation of process improvement initiatives across the purchasing/procurement function.
- Apply methodologies to streamline workflows, reduce inefficiencies, and enhance data visibility.
- Coordinate closely with the Purchasing/Procurement BPE to ensure consistency in process governance, ownership, and strategic alignment.
Project Backlog Ownership
- Own and manage the backlog of improvement projects within the purchasing/procurement domain.
- Prioritize initiatives based on impact, feasibility, and strategic relevance.
- Track progress, ensure resource allocation, and follow up on delivery milestones.
- Facilitate regular reviews with stakeholders to validate priorities and adjust plans as needed.
Tools & Digitalization
- Act as the change management owner for Celonis and IRIS, ensuring updates, enhancements, and user adoption are effectively managed.
- Identify opportunities to automate manual tasks and improve data flows through digital tools.
- Collaborate with IT, PAAR, MMD and functional teams to ensure seamless integration of tools into existing processes.
- Monitor tool performance and user feedback to drive continuous improvement.
Cross-functional Collaboration
- Act as a key liaison between purchasing and other departments such as Quality, Production, Accounts Payable.
- Represent the purchasing/procurement function in cross-functional projects, transformation programs, and digital initiatives.
Team Leadership & Development
- Lead and support a team of BPE's staff, fostering a culture of collaboration, ownership, and continuous learning.
- Provide coaching, feedback, and development opportunities to enhance team capabilities.
- Encourage innovation and proactive problem-solving within the team
We'd love to meet you if you have
Experience:
- Minimum 3 years in purchasing, process improvement, or tools management in industrial environments.
Education:
- University degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or similar.
- Master's degree in supply chain, Process Management, or Digital Transformation is a plus.
Languages:
- Fluent in Spanish and English. French is a plus.
Technical Competencies:
- Deep knowledge of purchasing and supply chain processes.
- Experience with digital tools (SAP, IRIS, Celonis).
- Strong analytical skills and strategic vision.
- Proven experience in change management and process ownership.
- Experience managing improvement project portfolios or backlogs.
