Job description

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Psychometrician with a strong background in behavioral assessment and Clinical Outcome Assessments (COAs) to join our clinical development team. This role focuses on the coordination and implementation of psychometric tools used to evaluate patient behavior and clinical outcomes in clinical trials. The ideal candidate will bridge scientific rigor with operational execution.

Your Responsibilities
  • Design, adapt, and implement Clinical Outcome Assessments (COAs) , including PRO, ClinRO, ObsRO, and PerfO instruments, for use in clinical trials.
  • Lead the validation and cultural adaptation (linguistic and conceptual) of assessment scales and questionnaires.
  • Train and support clinical raters, investigators, and site staff on proper administration and scoring of behavioral assessment tools.
  • Ensure data quality and consistency across multi-center studies by monitoring COA data collection processes.
  • Collaborate with medical, regulatory, and data management teams to align COA strategies with trial objectives.
  • Contribute to the development of study protocols, CRFs, eDiaries, and rater manuals.
  • Manage timelines and deliverables related to COA implementation across clinical programs.
Your Profile
  • Master’s or PhD in Psychology, Psychometrics, Neuropsychology, Educational Measurement, or related field.
  • Proven experience in clinical trials or academic research , preferably in neurology, psychiatry, or rare diseases.
  • Solid understanding of psychometric principles (validity, reliability, responsiveness) and regulatory guidelines (FDA COA Guidance, EMA PRO guidelines, ICH-GCP).
  • Fluency in English (both written and spoken); French is an asset.
  • Strong project management and interpersonal skills.
