Confidential Careers is seeking a Project Quality Engineer to join its Quality team in an international industrial environment. You will ensure compliance with customer requirements, quality standards, project timelines and cost objectives across new product development and manufacturing processes.

Key duties include coordinating APQP-based quality activities, developing FMEA and control plans, PPAP support, supplier quality activities and customer audit readiness.

Formación

• Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering or a related technical discipline.
• At least 3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably automotive.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate and monitor quality activities throughout the project lifecycle following APQP.
• Review customer requirements and support project feasibility assessments.
• Develop DFMEA and PFMEA; define, implement, and validate control plans.
• Coordinate PPAP activities for components and support supplier launches.
• Plan visits to critical suppliers and conduct process capability studies.
• Participate in RCA and validation during product development; validate production equipment.
• Conduct product audits and support customer audits and visits.

We are looking for a Project Quality Engineer to join our Quality team in a confidential international industrial company. You will play a key role in ensuring the successful development of new products and manufacturing processes, guaranteeing compliance with customer requirements, quality standards, project timelines, and cost objectives.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and monitor quality activities throughout the project lifecycle following APQP methodology.
• Review customer requirements and support project feasibility assessments.
• Participate in the development of DFMEA and PFMEA.
• Define, implement, and validate Control Plans.
• Coordinate and monitor PPAP activities for components.
• Participate in supplier launch activities and initial production approvals for key projects.
• Plan and conduct visits to critical suppliers.
• Perform process capability and stability studies.
• Participate in Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and validation activities during product development.
• Validate production equipment and manufacturing processes.
• Conduct product audits.
• Support customer audits and visits, ensuring quality expectations are met.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering or a related technical discipline.
• At least 3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within the automotive industry.

Skills

• Strong knowledge of APQP, PPAP, FMEA, Control Plans, and automotive quality tools.
• High level of English and Spanish, both written and spoken.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Experience with SAP and Minitab is a plus.
