Noatum Ports, part of AD Ports Group, is leading capital project delivery in Valencia, Spain. The Project Manager (CAPEX) will oversee end-to-end execution, coordinating engineering, operations, and external partners to deliver on time and within scope.

Responsibilities include managing cross-functional teams, ensuring regulatory and contractual compliance, and providing structured analysis to senior leaders.

Formación

  • Master’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, Business Administration, or related field.
  • CSCP or CLTD certification is desirable.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Capital Project Management and 5 years in Stakeholder Management.
  • Proficiency in English (written and spoken) and Spanish is mandatory.
  • In-depth knowledge of ports, maritime, logistics, supply chain management, and transportation best practices.
  • Strong leadership and financial acumen with strategic mindset and ability to drive results.

Responsabilidades

  • Lead the end-to-end implementation and execution of capital projects in Spain.
  • Coordinate consultants, contractors, and internal teams to ensure on-time delivery and proper governance.
  • Maintain rigorous schedule control and manage changes and risks.
  • Ensure smooth transitions from project phases into live operations.
  • Provide decision-support materials to senior leadership and governance forums.
  • Foster collaboration across Engineering, Operations, HSSE, IT, Finance, Legal, and Procurement.
  • Ensure compliance with local regulations and industry standards.

Job Purpose

The Project Manager (CAPEX) at AD Ports Group, within the Noatum Ports division, is responsible for leading the end-to-end implementation and execution of capital projects in Spain. This professional ensures that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with the approved business case, driving operational readiness and seamless transition into live operations.

Core Responsibilities:

Project Implementation & Execution

  • Lead the full implementation cycle from site preparation to operational go-live.
  • Ensure all technical, operational, regulatory, and commercial workstreams are properly sequenced and executed.
  • Maintain rigorous schedule control, anticipating deviations and activating recovery plans.
  • Ensure smooth transitions between project phases and into operations.

Coordination of Consultants & Contractors

  • Select, coordinate, and supervise engineering firms, consultants, and contractors.
  • Ensure clear deliverables, quality control, and contractual compliance.
  • Optimize external resources to maximize value and avoid cost overruns.

Cross-Functional Leadership & Operational Readiness

  • Mobilize and coordinate internal teams across Engineering, Operations, HSSE, IT, Finance, Legal, and Procurement.
  • Ensure the organization is fully prepared for each project milestone.
  • Provide structured analysis and decision-support materials to senior leadership.
  • Implement a disciplined change management process.
  • Identify risks early and deploy realistic mitigation strategies.
  • Ensure impacts on cost, schedule, and operations are fully assessed before approving changes.

Stakeholder Management

  • Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ensure transparent communication with leadership and corporate functions.
  • Prepare high-quality documentation for governance and decision-making forums
  • Lead internal project team members and support recruitment of additional resources.
  • Foster a collaborative environment and resolve conflicts when needed.
