A prominent infrastructure development group is seeking a project manager with 10 years of experience, particularly in Data Center environments. The role involves strategic leadership, client relationship management, and overseeing project execution. Ideal candidates will hold a degree in engineering and have strong leadership skills, as well as fluency in English. This position is based in Zaragoza, Spain.

Formación

• 10 years’ experience in project management, preferably in Data Centre constructions.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus.
• Fluent in English is required.

Responsabilidades

• Provide leadership and strategic management for a DATA CENTER PROJECT.
• Maintain collaborative relationships with clients and stakeholders.
• Regularly communicate project updates and milestones to clients.
• Manage project budgets, resources, and timelines effectively.
• Establish controls to identify potential issues early.
• Manage claims and disputes within contractual relationships.
• Oversee change order management and project documentation.
• Lead project meetings and continuously improve management processes.

DESCRIPTION

Our client is a leading Group in the development of industrial infrastructures and the provision of services, and one of the major players in the renewable energy sector in Spain and Latin America.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide leadership and strategic management for a DATA CENTER PROJECT.
• Maintain a positive and collaborative relationship with clients, stakeholders and team members to ensure continuous project execution.
• Regularly communicate project updates, milestones, and key decisions to clients and monitor and report project progress to senior management.
• Manage project budgets, resources, and timelines effectively, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and company standards.
• Establish and implement controls to ensure early identification of potential issues, providing effective mitigation plans.
• Strategically manage claims and disputes within FIDIC-based contractual relationships, or similar, collaborating with legal teams to achieve fair and timely resolutions.
• Effectively oversee change order management, addressing modifications initiated by the end-user and managing responses from general contractors.
• Manage project documentation and ensure it is updated and accessible.
• Lead project meetings and facilitate decision-making processes, continuously improving project management processes and methodologies to optimize efficiency and effectiveness.

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in engineering or related field
• 10 years’ experience in project management. Experience in Data Centre constructions is a plus
• Strong adaptability and cultural awareness in a multi-cultural work environment.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus.
• Fluent in English is a must.
• Proven track record of successfully delivering large-scale projects on time and within budget
• Strong leadership, decision making, and team building skills.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
