Becton, Dickinson, and Company in Spain seeks a Smart Factory Project Manager, Digital Platform, to lead end-to-end delivery of smart factory digital platform programs across manufacturing sites, from planning to deployment and benefits realization.

You will coordinate cross-functional teams across Digital, IT, OT, Engineering and Operations, manage integrated project plans, budgets and risks, and ensure governance, documentation, and stakeholder reporting in line with platform standards.

Formación

• Minimum 5+ years of project management experience delivering digital, software, data, automation, or manufacturing technology projects in industrial environments.
• Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Automation or related technical discipline.
• Certifications in project management, Agile, Scrum, software delivery, data platforms, automation, or manufacturing technology preferred but not required.

Job Description

As the Smart Factory Project Manager, Digital Platform, you will lead the end-to-end delivery of Smart Factory digital platform projects across manufacturing sites, from scope definition and planning through deployment, stabilization, and benefit realization. In this role, you will coordinate cross-functional teams across Digital, IT, OT, Engineering, Operations, Process Areas, Cybersecurity, and external partners to translate business use cases into executable delivery plans and measurable outcomes. You will manage integrated project plans, financials, risks, dependencies, testing, validation, training, site readiness, and stakeholder engagement to ensure delivery aligns with Smart Factory platform standards, OT architecture principles, cybersecurity requirements, data governance expectations, and applicable regulatory practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end Smart Factory digital platform project delivery including data acquisition, contextualization, integrations, visualizations, access management, master data, notifications, UI components, and AI Agent governance
• Coordinate external partners, vendors, statements of work, and contract deliverables, ensuring clear alignment on scope, responsibilities, timelines, risks, dependencies, acceptance criteria, and execution across Digital, IT, OT, Engineering, Operations, Cybersecurity, Quality/Validation, Infrastructure, and site teams
• Manage integrated project plans, budgets, resources, vendor contracts, testing, validation, training, site readiness, KPIs, and stakeholder reporting
• Support software and platform delivery practices, including Agile execution, backlog coordination, release planning, user acceptance testing, deployment readiness, and documentation
• Maintain clear project documentation, status reporting, decision logs, risk registers, and lessons learned to support repeatable global rollout
• Facilitate resolution of technical and business blockers related to data platforms, system integrations, manufacturing connectivity, and site deployment constraints
• Manage execution of digital platform implementations involving manufacturing data acquisition, contextualization, integration, visualization, and analytics capabilities
• Coordinate delivery of reusable core platform capabilities, including access management, master data management, notification services, and generic UI components, ensuring they are designed once and reused across multiple Smart Factory use cases
• Ensure implementation plans include proper governance, testing, documentation, and release readiness for shared platform services such as RBAC/access control, master data synchronization, alerting/notifications, standardized Storybook components, and AI Agent capabilities
• Coordinate delivery governance for AI Agents, including use‑case intake, risk assessment, approval workflows, human‑in‑the‑loop controls, auditability, cybersecurity alignment, and responsible adoption across manufacturing environments

About you

Strong knowledge of digital platform project delivery, manufacturing data platforms, industrial data architecture, OT/IT integration, manufacturing connectivity, data acquisition, contextualization, integration, visualization, analytics, cybersecurity requirements, data governance, and applicable regulatory practices.

Experience with Smart Factory platforms, shared platform services, access management, master data management, notification services, standardized UI components, AI Agent governance, and industrial data platforms such as Cognite Data Fusion or similar solutions is strongly preferred.

Minimum 5+ years of project management experience delivering digital, software, data, automation, or manufacturing technology projects in industrial environments, including complex cross‑functional programs across global teams, manufacturing sites, vendors, and technology partners.

Strong skills in project planning, stakeholder communication, risk and dependency management, executive reporting, facilitation, influencing, problem solving, Agile delivery, release planning, user acceptance testing, deployment readiness, documentation, and value realization tracking.

Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Automation, or a related technical discipline is preferred; relevant certifications in project management, Agile, Scrum, software delivery, data platforms, automation, or manufacturing technology are preferred but not required.

Salary for this role: 60000€
