Project Manager – AWS, MEP Design

Aragón region (Zaragoza / Villanueva de Gállego)

Contract Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager with a strong MEP design and data centre background to support our consultancy team on active AWS hyperscale data centre projects in the Aragón region.

This is an immediate-start position supporting the delivery of multi-disciplinary MEP design packages and acting as the key interface between our engineering teams and AWS stakeholders.

Due to the short mobilisation period and the sensitive nature of AWS work, the ideal candidate will already hold active AWS Yellow Badge clearance and be familiar with AWS processes, documentation standards, review cycles, and internal project management systems.

Key Responsibilities

Project Management & Coordination

Manage and drive delivery of MEP design packages across mechanical & electrical disciplines.

Maintain and track project schedules, deliverables, design milestones, and dependencies.

Lead regular design coordination meetings with internal engineering teams and AWS project stakeholders.

Ensure all deliverables are compliant with AWS design standards, specifications, naming conventions, and quality requirements.

Client & Stakeholder Interface

Act as the primary point of contact between the MEP design consultancy and AWS project managers, technical leads, and construction stakeholders.

Manage design queries (RFIs), change requests, and approvals through AWS’s internal systems.

Process & Compliance

Ensure adoption of AWS processes, workflows, and gated review cycles (SD, DD, IFC, etc.).

Coordinate document control, versioning, and submission requirements within AWS platforms.

Monitor compliance with AWS safety, security, and data protocols when visiting sites.

Site Support (as required)

Support occasional site walks, technical clarifications, and interface coordination at AWS data centre locations in Zaragoza and Villanueva de Gállego.

Assist in resolving design-to-construction queries when needed.
