Semi Zabala, S.L. in Donostia/San Sebastián is seeking a Project Manager to oversee the company’s project portfolio, including internal initiatives and grants from European, national, and regional sources.

You will coordinate planning, execution, monitoring, and deliverables, draft proposals, manage budgets and timelines, and liaise with public bodies and advisors to ensure compliance.

Formación

• Professional fluency in Spanish and English (C1) required.
• At least 3 years of project management experience, incl. grant-funded projects.
• Experience drafting technical proposals and grant documentation.
• Ability to manage internal and grant-funded projects with different timelines.
• Proficiency with Excel, Word, PowerPoint, MS Project, or equivalent.

Job Summary

At Semi Zabala, S.L. we are looking for a Project Manager to comprehensively manage the company's project portfolio, covering both internal projects and projects funded through European, national, and regional grants. The selected candidate will be responsible for coordinating the planning, execution, and monitoring of these projects, as well as drafting proposals during the preparation phase, operational and documentary management during the execution phase, and preparing the deliverables required during the justification phase, ensuring compliance with deadlines and each call's technical and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Internal Projects

• Plan, execute, and monitor the company's internal projects following APQP methodology from start to finish.
• Define scope, timeline, milestones, and resources in collaboration with the teams involved.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams, ensuring alignment and smooth communication.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate risks that could affect deadlines or quality.
• Prepare status reports and project KPIs for management.

Grant-Funded Projects (European, National, and Regional)

• Preparation phase: draft technical proposals and application documentation, analyze funding calls and regulatory bases, and coordinate input from the company's different departments.
• Execution phase: manage project delivery in accordance with the approved grant, track tasks, deadlines, and budget, and prepare the technical and management deliverables required during execution.
• Justification phase: prepare and compile all supporting documentation (justification reports, technical and financial reports, expense evidence, and other deliverables) required by the funding body, meeting the deadlines and formal requirements of each call.
• Track the calendar of funding calls and administrative deadlines for each grant.
• Act as the point of contact with public bodies (European, national, and regional) and external advisors when needed.

Requirements

• Lenguages: Professional fluency in Spanish and C1 level in English
• At least 3 years of experience in project management, ideally including projects funded through public grants (European, national, and/or regional).
• Experience drafting technical proposals and application documentation for grant and funding calls.
• Experience with the financial and technical justification of grant-funded projects.
• Ability to manage internal projects and grant-funded projects simultaneously, each with different timelines and requirements.
• Proficiency with project management and office tools (Excel, Word, PPT, MS Project, or similar).
• Strong organizational, prioritization, and time-management skills, with close attention to detail in documentation.
• Clear communication skills with internal teams, public bodies, and external advisors.
• University degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.

Nice to Have

• Degree in Electronic Engineering or a related field, providing a technical understanding of the company's R&D&I projects related to semiconductors for the space sector.
• Prior experience managing grants in the technology or R&D&I space (CDTI, Horizon Europe, Hazitek, etc.).
• PMP, PSM, or other project management certification.
• Knowledge of public funding regulations and related administrative procedures.
