GEA is seeking a Project Manager in Alcobendas (Madrid) to lead complex engineering and industrial projects. You will coordinate multidisciplinary teams and external stakeholders to deliver on time, within budget and to the required quality standards.

The role combines project leadership, customer management, and financial accountability to ensure successful outcomes and long‑term customer satisfaction. Hybrid work, with remote days, is available.

Formación

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (Engineering preferred).
• PMP certification or equivalent (preferred).
• 4+ years of project execution experience, ideally as Lead Engineer or Group Manager.
• Proficient in MS Office, Power BI, and ERP; MS Project is a plus.
• Strong understanding of project finance and contract management.
• Spanish (native) & English C1 (mandatory); French is an asset.
• Strategic, results‑oriented, detail‑driven, and sustainability‑minded.
• Experience managing multicultural teams; influential and trusted collaborator.
• Proactive, accountable, customer‑focused, methodical, adaptable, and process‑oriented.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and conflict‑resolution skills.

Responsabilidades

• Lead complex engineering and industrial projects from initiation to handover.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams and external stakeholders to meet quality, time, cost, and scope targets.
• Manage project scope, schedule, budget, risks and quality throughout the lifecycle.
• Oversee project reporting, change orders, claims and risk mitigation actions.
• Monitor financial performance including costs, margins and cash flow.
• Ensure compliance with GEA processes, standards and sustainability guidelines.

Responsibilities / Tasks

• For our offices in Alcobendas (Madrid), we are currently looking for a Project Manager to lead the execution of complex engineering and industrial projects.
• In this role, you will coordinate multidisciplinary teams and external stakeholders to deliver projects safely, on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
• The role combines project leadership, customer management, commercial awareness, and financial accountability to ensure successful project outcomes and long-term customer satisfaction.
• Plan, organize and control assigned projects from handover to final acceptance.
• Coordinate internal departments, suppliers and customers to ensure successful project execution.
• Manage project scope, schedule, budget, risks and quality throughout the project lifecycle.
• Lead customer communication and stakeholder management.
• Monitor project financial performance, including costs, margins and cash flow.
• Manage project reporting, change orders, claims and risk mitigation actions.
• Ensure compliance with GEA processes, quality standards and sustainability guidelines.
• Drive continuous improvement and capture lessons learned for future projects.

Your Profile / Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (Engineering preferred).
