• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electromechanical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience in substation automation, protection, and control systems.
• Native-level Spanish proficiency required; English at C1 level or higher.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Willingness and ability to travel ~25% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the technical lead and design authority for engineering deliverables across disciplines.
• Develop base designs for substation automation, control, and protection systems.
• Verify implementation of base designs during detailed engineering phases.
• Coordinate all technical activities throughout the project lifecycle.
• Review and approve technical documentation per contractual requirements.
• Collaborate with customers to define and deliver technical solutions.
• Identify, assess, and manage technical and cross-functional project risks.
• Support project management with engineering budget monitoring, forecasting, and cost-to-complete assessments.

In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and cost-effective execution of engineering deliverables while meeting contractual requirements, quality standards, and safety regulations.

This position requires approximately 25% travel.
