Job summary

Oxford Global Resources is seeking a Project Engineer with expertise in HVAC, Clean Room and Utilities for a client in Sant Cugat. The role is 100% on-site, requiring design, feasibility studies and coordination with validation, production and suppliers.

The candidate should have a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Industrial or Chemical), 2+ years in a similar pharma/industrial role, and solid knowledge of HVAC systems and clean utilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Industrial or Chemical).
• Experience in pharmaceutical or industrial sector is a plus.
• HVAC systems and cleanrooms familiarity.
• Knowledge of Clean Utilities is a plus.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel) and project management tools.

Responsibilities

• Carry out and oversee design and feasibility studies for pharmaceutical facility projects, focusing on HVAC & Clean Room.
• Promote adherence to quality standards and health and safety regulations.
• Collaborate with validation and production teams during qualification and commissioning of equipment and facilities.
• Design, calculate and supervise equipment and installations.
• Liaise with suppliers and contractors and oversee their work.
• Define scope, execution schedule and budget for feasibility studies.
• Specify equipment and instruments and generate engineering documentation to support procurement and installation.
• Resolve issues during commissioning activities.
• Keep the project team informed, aligning goals and priorities.
• Negotiate with suppliers and select necessary resources to meet deadlines and investment targets.
• Lead meetings with clients to track project progress.
• Supervise the work of technical office staff assigned to projects.

Oxford Global Resources a specialized Consulting Services Firm focused on developing technological solutions for the pharmaceutical industry, is currently seeking to incorporate a Project Engineer with expertise in HVAC & Clean Room & Utilities for our client located in Sant Cugat (100% on-site).

What Your Responsibilities Will Be

• You will carry out and oversee design and feasibility studies for pharmaceutical facility projects, primarily in the area of HVAC & Clean Room, ensuring technical quality and compliance with the agreed scope, schedule and budget.
• You will promote adherence to quality standards, occupational health and safety regulations.
• You will collaborate with validation and production teams in the qualification and commissioning of equipment and facilities.
• You will design, calculate and supervise equipment and installations.
• You will liaise with suppliers and contractors and oversee their work.
• You will define the scope, execution schedule and budget for feasibility studies.

Who You Are

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, education, and/or ability required.

• You posses a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Industrial or Chemical). Specialized training in the pharmaceutical sector and/or in HVAC & Clean Room design will be highly valued. Also be familiar with Black Utilites (hot water, chilled, water, steam, compressed air,...).
• You have at least 2 years of experience in a similar role within the pharmaceutical or industrial sector.
• You are familiar with HVAC systems and/or cleanrooms. Knowledge of Clean Utilities will be considered a plus.
• You are proficient in Microsoft Office tools such as Excel and MS Project.
• Proficiency in engineering software (e.g., AutoCAD, Navisworks).
• You have a high level of English (equivalent to B2 - First Certificate).
