A leading international construction firm in Madrid is seeking a Project Director to lead datacenter projects. You will be responsible for project management, team coordination, and client relationships. The ideal candidate has over 10 years of experience in industrial building projects and proficiency in Spanish and English. This role requires frequent travel across Spain and a focus on compliance and operational excellence.

Formación

• At least 10 years of experience managing complex multi-disciplinary industrial building projects.
• Expertise in managing large-scale projects and coordinating diverse specialist teams.
• Ability to anticipate risks and opportunities.

As part of our growth and organizational development around major industrial building projects as a General Contractor , we are seeking a Project Director to join our Datacenter team in Spain.

Reporting to the Regional Director, you will be responsible for leading our design & build datacenter projects , with full accountability for the project’s technical, financial, and contractual performance.

More specifically, your main responsibilities will include :

• Strategic project management : defining objectives (quality, cost, timeline, safety) and implementing management frameworks (quality plans, organization, contracts),
• Team coordination and leadership : structuring the project team, defining roles and responsibilities, and fostering a positive, collaborative work environment,
• Operational monitoring and reporting : overseeing project progress (schedule, budget, risks) in collaboration with the PMO, and feeding into steering committees,
• Ensuring compliance with contractual commitments and regulatory requirements,
• Building and maintaining strong client relationships throughout the project and representing the company to external partners,
• Contributing to the evolution of project management practices and supporting internal transformations.

With an electrical, mechanical or civil engineering degree, you have at least 10 years of experience managing complex, multi-disciplinary industrial building projects.

You are recognized for your leadership skills and your ability to manage large-scale projects by coordinating diverse specialist teams. You have solid expertise in analytical project management , risk and opportunity anticipation, and have worked on international projects where you developed proficiency in Spanish and English .

Mainly based on site, close to the construction activities, you are open to frequent travel across Spain .
