Allot is an established industry leader in network intelligence and security solutions for service providers and enterprises around the world. We believe in giving our Tier-1 customers around the world real value by offering them cutting-edge solutions that make their networks smarter and their users more secure. At Allot, you'll have the opportunity to develop professionally and personally in a dynamic environment with like-minded people who always go the extra mile to succeed.
We are looking for an experienced, highly organized Senior Technical Project Manager to join our R&D organization. This is a strategic and operational role at the heart of our product development lifecycle: you will own the end-to-end planning and delivery of software releases, lead cross-functional coordination between R&D, QA, DevOps, and Product, and take responsibility for the health of our release process as a whole.
You will work closely with R&D leadership, team leads, and product managers (from different global locations) - driving major releases independently, mentoring more junior project managers/coordinators, and shaping the methodologies and tools the whole department uses. This position is based in Madrid, Spain (working in a hybrid model)
End-to-End Release Ownership: Independently own the planning and delivery of multiple, often complex or overlapping software releases --- from scoping through deployment --- including project scope, schedule, and content, with full accountability for quality.
Team & Cross-Functional Leadership: Lead teams with participation from different functions within the organization (R&D, QA, DevOps, Product) and, where appropriate, external sub-contractors; work cross-functionally and establish positive relationships with key internal stakeholders.
Execution & Tracking: Drive releases through the full SDLC, planning and scheduling project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools, tracking progress against plan, and identifying slippage or blockers early.
Dependencies & Critical Path: Identify and manage project dependencies and critical paths across teams.
Conflict Resolution & Stakeholder Management: Identify and resolve issues and conflicts within R&D, coordinating and aligning R&D, QA, DevOps, Product, and management stakeholders.
Risk & Change Management: Manage risks and mitigation plans, and manage scope/schedule changes with minimal disruption.
Reporting & Executive Visibility: Build and own release dashboards, status reports, and go/no-go decision materials using tools such as Jira, Confluence, and AI tools; present plan and status to all relevant stakeholders, including senior leadership.
Metrics & Continuous Improvement: Measure and analyze project metrics to foster a continuous improvement culture; run post-release retrospectives, document lessons learned, and drive organization-wide process improvements.
Process Ownership & Methodology: Define, implement, and continuously improve project and release management processes, templates, and standards across the R&D organization --- not just for your own releases.
3 years of proven experience in project management in software project delivery with a clear focus on metrics and continuous improvement.
Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience with Agile delivery methodologies.
Strong analytical skills and ability to meet deadlines, goals, and objectives of projects.
Advanced skills in Atlassian tools (Jira, confluence)
BSC (or higher) degree
Ability to quickly learn new technologies
Excellent communication skills in English on any level of the organization
Excellent analytical skills and a people's person
Ability to work in a multi-cultural environment
