Job summary

METLEN Energy & Metals is seeking a Project Controller to monitor and manage project costs, forecasts, and budgets in a fast-paced, global energy/metals environment. You will collaborate with project managers and finance to ensure cost efficiency and accurate reporting.

Ideal candidates have 2–5 years in cost control, budgeting, or financial analysis, with strong Excel skills and experience in ERP systems. This role offers growth, cross-functional exposure, and a focus on profitability

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
• 2–5 years of proven experience in cost control, budgeting, or financial analysis.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting and cost management techniques.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial management systems.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and control project or operational costs against approved budgets.
• Prepare and maintain cost reports, forecasts, and variance analysis.
• Track expenses and analyze deviations between actual costs and planned budgets.
• Work closely with project managers, procurement, and finance teams to ensure cost efficiency.
• Review purchase orders, invoices, and contracts to ensure proper cost allocation.
• Assist in the preparation of project budgets and financial plans.
