Drees & Sommer is seeking a Project Construction Manager to lead large-scale industrial projects in Seville, Spain. You will oversee multidisciplinary teams, coordinate with clients and external partners, and ensure delivery within international standards and regulatory requirements.

The role demands leadership, strategic vision, and excellent communication skills across diverse stakeholders. Regular travel within Spain and internationally is expected; a mobile working option is available.

Formación

• University degree in Industrial Engineering, Civil Engineering, Building/Construction Engineering, Architectural Technology, Mechanical Engineering, or related fields.
• Master’s degrees or advanced certifications in project management (PMP, IPMA, Lean, etc.) will be valued.
• Between 5 and 10 years of experience in managing industrial projects.
• Proven recent experience in sectors such as semiconductors, manufacturing, energy, logistics, or life sciences.

Responsabilidades

• Lead industrial projects from requirements identification, design, planning, execution, and commissioning.

• Manage projects end-to-end, including production processes, facilities, buildings, and technical systems.

At Drees & Sommer, we are looking for a Project Construction Manager with solid experience to lead large-scale industrial projects in sectors such as manufacturing and product development, including automotive, batteries, pharmaceuticals, semiconductors, life sciences, chemicals, energy, and logistics. This position plays a key role in the planning, execution, and delivery of highly complex projects within multicultural environments governed by global standards and regulations, and it is based in Seville, Andalucia (Spain).

The ideal candidate combines strong technical leadership, comprehensive project management capabilities, strategic vision, and exceptional communication and coordination skills across clients, stakeholders, and internal interfaces.

1. Academic Background

• University degree in Industrial Engineering, Civil Engineering, Building/Construction Engineering, Architectural Technology, Mechanical Engineering, or related technical fields.
• Master’s degrees or advanced certifications in project management (PMP, IPMA, Lean, etc.) will be valued.

2. Professional Experience

• Between 5 and 10 years of experience in managing industrial projects.
• Proven recent experience in industrial projects in sectors such as semiconductors, manufacturing, energy, logistics, or life sciences.
